Privacy Policy

Last updated: 31 October 2026

Securnix ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using https://securnix.netlify.app/, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information we do not collect

The cipher, brute force, hash, password, UUID and text-conversion tools run in your browser using JavaScript and do not send tool input to a Securnix application server. If you submit the contact form, your name, email address and message are sent to the site's form-processing provider so your request can be handled. We do not require an account to use the public tools.

2. Cookies and local storage

We use your browser's localStorage to remember your light or dark theme preference, the last active tool tab, and the public RSA demo key pair. The separate dashboard demo also stores registration and sign-in details, including passwords, in local storage. This is not secure account authentication: do not enter a real or reused password or other sensitive information. Passwords and UUIDs generated by the public generators are not saved by those tools. These values remain in that browser and are not sent to a Securnix authentication server. Third-party advertising partners may use cookies as described below.

3. Google AdSense and advertising cookies

We display advertising through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. For more details, please see Google's advertising technologies page.

4. Analytics and Search Console

We may use privacy-friendly analytics and Google Search Console to understand which pages are visited and how the site performs. These services collect aggregated, non-identifying information such as page views, device type, and referring URL. We do not use this data to identify individual visitors.

5. Third-party links

Some pages may link to external websites, including documentation and reference articles. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third-party sites. We encourage you to read their privacy policies before providing any information.

6. Children's privacy

Securnix is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or to object to certain processing. Because we do not maintain user accounts or a database of user inputs, in most cases there is nothing for us to delete. If you have emailed us, you may request that we delete that correspondence at any time.

8. Data security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the site and any information you share voluntarily. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of the page. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

10. Contact

If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, please contact us at Cipherool@gmail.com or through the contact page.
